Cool Ways To Paint A Coffee Table

If you have recently purchased a table and are in need of some fresh new paint, these cool ways to paint a coffee table will get your job done fast and easily. So many people have purchased a table with paint already on it and are left wondering what to do with it. Well, it’s actually really simple, as long as you have the proper supplies on hand. You can easily turn an old, drab looking piece of furniture into a beautiful piece of art by yourself using a few simple techniques.

First of all, if you are painting over a colored surface, make sure that the color you choose is one you like. It doesn’t’ have to be the exact same as what is on the coffee table. You’ll have much more success if you just go off your instincts. Pick something you really like because chances are that if you don’t like it now, chances are you won’t like it in a few months or a year from now either. If you can take your time and pick out something you’re really happy with, then that’s the best way to go about it.

When you are painting over a colored surface, make sure that you use a primer before you start spraying the paint. This will help make the paint stick to your surface better and give it a better look in the end. Primer also prevents the paint from cracking under the heat of the table. However, there are other primers on the market that may do a better job.

If you’re not painting over a colored surface, then you can simply use paint and water paints. There are also tape paints you can use. Make sure that you use a good quality paint that adheres well to your coffee table and that you spray lightly. A little bit of dry time is all that is needed for this type of paint. However, if you have any cracks in the paint, then you might want to get some new furniture paint.

One cool way to paint a coffee table that has a lot of cracks is with stencils. You simply put down the stencil and tape it to where you want to paint. Then you just paint in the cracks using the paint roller. Of course, you’ll want to be careful with these stencils. They are very fragile and can easily get broken if you aren’t careful.

Another cool way to paint a coffee table is by spray painting. Spray painting is great because you can easily paint the whole table in one coat. All you need to do is put down the primer and let it dry. Then you just spray paint all over. However, this isn’t the best option for your coffee table because it can be messy.

The next step up is a stained glass technique. This is a great way to paint a coffee table because it allows you to really show off the design will shine through. For most people this is the best way to go because it’s also the most challenging. If you are a little nervous about trying this one out, I would suggest buying a stained glass pint glass so that you have something to practice on.

There are many other ways to paint a coffee table, but these two are my personal favorites. If you want to try something else, don’t be afraid to experiment. Just make sure that the paint you use is specifically designed for use on coffee tables. If not, you can always paint something else on your coffee table.
